Hey met again with my friends still on this site, hopefully you all in a state of fine and of course get to watch television series events are crowded enjoy doing around the world, this time I will tell you the movie Big Man episode 2  ", the television series certainly is not foreign anymore, so do not miss the excitement in every episode every week.
as usual I am here to tell you the synopsis and summary in each episode, read on to find out the episode description :

Summary :
Kim Ji Hyuk (Kang Ji Hwan) doesn’t have parents and goes through a tough life. He then meets Dal Sook (Song Ok Sook) who runs a small restaurant at a traditional market. Kim Ji Hyuk follows her like his mother and settles down at the traditional market. He works hard to open up his own store within the traditional market. Suddenly, Kim Ji Hyuk becomes a hidden son from a family that owns Korea’s top company Hyunsung. He realizes though that there are impure intentions. Since that moment, Kim Ji Hyuk takes revenge upon the people at the Hyunsung company. He becomes romantically involved with a woman named So Mi Ra (Lee Da Hee) who he meets at the most important time in his life.

Meanwhile, Kang Dong Suk (Choi Daniel) is the one who grew up a chaebol his whole life. Kang Jin Ah (Jung So Min) is his sister.

Synopsis Big Man episode 2 Review
We open with a shot of our hero KIM JI-HYUK (Kang Ji-hwan) scoping out a cafe from a nearby rooftop. His messy lookout is strewn with half-eaten junk food, and when his target—a young man—finally turns up, he moves in to block his path. Recognizing our hero at once, the man in black takes off in the opposite direction.

Ji-hyuk chases his target through the streets and into oncoming traffic, where one car screeches to an abrupt halt to avoid collision. He points angrily at the car before continuing his pursuit.

The surprised man behind the wheel, KANG DONG-SEOK (Daniel Choi), is on his way to propose to his ladyfriend, but it’s apparent that he isn’t going to make that lunch date because a truck slams into his car moments later. Don’t text and drive, folks!

After successfully capturing his target, Ji-hyuk drags him to the police station, where he pumps the man in black (cameo by Mo Il-hwa, er I mean Song Jae-rim) for a confession. One might be led to think that Ji-hyuk is a cop given the way he demands answers… until he gets smacked over the head by the actual detective for trying to act like one. Thus Ji-hyuk is forced to sit through and listen peevishly in silence to Jae-rim’s denials of all allegations made against him.

We find out that the reason why Ji-hyuk is so determined at hunting down Jae-min is in order to clear his own name, as evidenced by the wanted poster hanging on the wall with his face on it. Despite his insistence that he’s cut ties with those ruffians long ago, his checkered past is still a mark against him, and is told to leave the poster up. He tears it down anyway. Ha.

As Dong-seok is rushed to the emergency room, his chaebol family is alerted of the grave situation. The attending physician is well-aware of Dong-seok’s heart condition, but tells the family that the patient’s heart is too weak to beat on its own—he needs a new one.

Acquiring an organ transplant could take some time, since neither money nor prestige can bump him up on the list. But Dong-seok’s mother won’t hear of it and demands that it be done immediately.

Aside from waiting helplessly, their only other option is to find a willing donor within the family. With the firm belief that a donor match must exist somewhere, Chairman Kang orders his chief secretary to comb for ideal candidates.

He’s willing to go to any lengths to save his son, even if it means adding a total stranger into the family registry. “Bring [him] in by any means necessary,” he growls menacingly, “even if you have to kill him.”

Elsewhere, Ji-hyuk gets chased out of a tiny restaurant by Mom, who brandishes a sheet pan to wallop her good-for nothing son over the head. He swears the police won’t come looking for him anymore now that the real culprit is in custody, but that doesn’t save him from another beating for his month-long disappearance.

Mom frowns sadly when Ji-hyuk bursts that he’s the only one who can look after himself, and then feeds him dinner. At the mention of inviting his buddy Dae-sub over to eat, Mom says he’s at the hospital, and we see that’s because his father just passed away. Aw, sad.

Giving his friend a comforting hug, Ji-hyuk asks why he wasn’t the first to hear about the sad news, only to be reminded that he was unreachable. As they eat together by the memorial, Dae-sub can’t help but grieve over losing a parent, even an awful one, and says that Ji-hyuk wouldn’t be able to understand.

Ji-hyuk disagrees, arguing that being born to someone doesn’t make one a parent by default, but that a parent needs to earn that title by raising their children well. Dae-sub remarks that Ji-hyuk would feel differently if his actual parents happened to show up one day (omo, so does that mean Mom at the restaurant isn’t his biological mom?), but Ji-hyuk doesn’t think so.

Still, Dae-sub regrets not being able to send his father on an overseas trip while he was still alive. Even though Ji-hyuk pretends not to care, we see he’s thoughtful when it counts: like when his buddy is just about to spread the ashes by the river, Ji-hyuk comes running with balloons in hand.

They watch the box float away into the sky together, hoping it’ll land somewhere far away.

As for Dong-seok’s date, she’s left waiting at the restaurant for hours, unaware that her boyfriend was in a car accident. Her name is SO MI-RA (Lee Da-hee), and she wonders why Dong-seok would suddenly leave for America without a word.

Chief Secretary Do plainly tells her that it’s their jobs to do as they’re told by the Kang family—it isn’t their place to know why. When she presses for more anyway, he raises a suspicious eyebrow and basically tells her, Google it.

After Mi-ra is promptly dismissed without any answers, Chief Secretary Do scans the batch of possible donor matches. He sighs at how the success rate of each candidate is less than fifty percent, but then stops at one name with the closest match of 95 percent: Kim Ji-hyuk. Bingo.

Speaking of, Ji-hyuk is busy stuffing his face when he gets called in for work. He’s approached by a few thugs on his way out, and even though Ji-hyuk has put his ol’ gangster days long behind him, he still pulls rank and advises the leader to teach the others some manners.

As they watch him leave, the leader sighs over how Ji-hyuk was once the best among them. And then he receives a call asking after Ji-hyuk, whom the leader acknowledges he knows very well. Gulp.

It turns out that Ji-hyuk works as a designated driver, and he quickly swishes some mouthwash (to get rid of the scent of soju he drank earlier) before picking up his fare. His red-haired customer gets annoyed at his questions about the public transportation in her neighborhood, saying that she doesn’t bother with that.

She’s got ears like a bat though, and promptly calls him out when she hears him muttering an insult under his breath. She may be a snob, but she’s no ditz, and doesn’t buy his answer that he was talking about his rude little sister who ran away. So she dishes it right back, saying that her godforsaken big bro is probably a designated driver now. Damn.

Their tiff is put on pause when Ji-hyuk spots a police checkpoint up ahead. Thinking fast, he suddenly swerves the car into a u-turn and drives off in the opposite direction. He speeds down the road with the police hot on his tail, ignoring his customer’s screams at him to stop the car.

He loses them by pulling into an alleyway, and his red-haired customer accuses him of drinking before getting behind the wheel—why else would he run? Ji-hyuk tries to explain himself, but she barks back that a DUI should be the least of his worries when he nearly killed someone.

She storms off, which is when a scooter comes zooming down the road. Ji-hyuk pulls her out of the way just in time, though he gets side-swiped himself. He lets the deliveryman go, but they’ve got bigger things to worry about when a police patrol appears nearby.

So Ji-hyuk launches at her and kisses her until the police car drives past, then she pushes him off of her and slaps him hard across the cheek, calling him “trash.” Something about that particular insult sets Ji-hyuk off, as he grabs her wrist when she tries to hit him again.

He warns her to think before she acts because “there are only two pieces of trash here.” Stuffing the mouthwash into her hand, he tells her to get rid of the trashy smell.

With that, Ji-hyuk staggers off in his injured state. And his evening is just about to get a lot worse because he’s suddenly attacked with a blow to the back of the head and knocked out cold (thanks to those gangster thugs we saw earlier).

Ji-hyuk is carted off to the hospital, where the doctor asserts that his blood test results confirms him as a good donor match for our chaebol patient. Acting on Chief Secretary Do’s orders, the gangster leader injects Ji-hyuk with something that makes his vitals go haywire. The doctors are all puzzled over the case, worried that their patient might go brain-dead.

And while the hospital is busy with all this commotion, Chief Secretary Do goes ahead to draw up paperwork to officially add Ji-hyuk to the Kang family registry. Chairman Kang is pleased to hear that everything is going smoothly and reports as much to his wife.

It isn’t certain whether their daughter has eavesdropped on her parents’ conversation or just daydreaming, but she’s the same red-haired girl we saw earlier. This is KANG JIN-AH (Jung So-min), who excuses herself from the table, leaving the parents to discuss among themselves about marrying off their children to each other.

Chairman Kang is greeted by an old face, whom he identifies as Chief Prosecutor Jang. Neither party is terribly excited about seeing each other, but they keep up terse pleasantries as the chief prosecutor says he looks forward to running into Chairman Kang more often now that he’s recently moved to Seoul.

Mi-ra walks into Dong-seok’s empty office with a heavy heart, and the place triggers a flashback to when he had surprised her with a kiss. As suspected, they were as adorable as could be, even when Dong-seok had explained to her why they couldn’t go public with their relationship yet.

He mostly feared his mother’s reaction, but then teased that he’d be disowned and her hopes to become a company president’s wife would be dashed forever. That prompted Mi-ra to say that suggests she was a gold digger, and he smiled back, “Wasn’t that the case?” Aw, they’re cute.

Amused by her miffed response, he challenged back if he can really leave if she doesn’t want to be married to the president. Back in the present, Mi-ra wonders whether Dong-seok really meant those words.

Evidently Jin-ah excused herself in order to find Ji-hyuk, causing a scene at the call center where he works at. Mi-ra swings by to drive her home, and when Jin-ah refuses to take the legal route (since that would needlessly complicate matters), she asks after the real reason why Jin-ah is looking for that man. To that, Jin-ah deflects the question and pretends to sleep.
It appears that Jin-ah doesn’t know of her big brother’s hospitalization as well, judging from how she asks if it upset Mi-ra that oppa left without a word. Encouraging Mi-ra to understand that her brother can be like that sometimes, Jin-ah heads inside.

Mi-ra turns back to the grand house to see/imagine(?) a paper airplane shoot out a window. Regardless, it takes us back to when Mi-ra and Dong-seok were kids and the plane had landed by her feet.

She had tried to launch it back up to where a friendly young Dong-seok stood waiting, but the plane’s wooden nose had broken off in its attempt. Dong-seok had been good-hearted about the accident, however, and had told her to repair it if she could. Back in her room, Mi-ra holds the old but repaired plane in her hands.

Back at the hospital, as the doctors prep for surgery, Chairman Kang and his wife receive the saddening news that their legal “son” Ji-hyuk is now brain-dead. Right on cue, the chairman’s wife bursts into tears as a minister reads Ji-hyuk his last rites.

Ji-hyuk is then wheeled into the operating room, but just as the attending surgeon makes his first incision, Ji-hyuk shows a flicker of life. As the seconds pass, his brain activity grows stronger. The attending is willing to continue with the surgery, but the other medical personnel point out the ethical dilemma.

Thus the attending has no choice but to report to Chairman Kang and his wife that their “son” Ji-hyuk is alive, to their shock. Naturally this means that they cannot proceed with the organ transplant for Dong-seok, and the chairman’s wife shrills that there must be a mistake. Operating on Ji-hyuk now would make him a murderer, the doctor argues.

Chairman Kang is displeased at this turn of events, especially when his chief secretary likens it to a miracle. All they can do is keep their options open (as in, hope Ji-hyuk becomes brain-dead again?) and keep things quiet.

Dae-sub swings by the restaurant, worried that he hasn’t heard from Ji-hyuk again. Mom says she isn’t worried, protesting that she’s going to cut ties with Ji-hyuk this time. She makes a big fuss about NOT caring about a boy who isn’t her flesh and blood, but then we see her waiting up for Ji-hyuk outside, wrought with worry. Aw.

Mi-ra is a competent team leader at work, delegating tasks for an upcoming event and solving rising issues with effective ease. Chief Secretary Do is called away to speak with a guest, which doesn’t escape Mi-ra’s notice.

Once they’re alone, Chief Secretary Do says they’re in need of a matching “machine” with Dong-seok’s records, pointing to the heart. When you say “machine,” do you mean an artificial heart? Or is it code for something else?

Mi-ra wraps up the staff meeting, but her eyes grow wide at the tidbit about Dong-seok’s wrecked car. She offers to take care of it herself and discovers his cell phone and a jewelry bag in the wreckage. The mechanic isn’t at liberty to discuss the details, but he does inform her that the driver survived the accident, to her great relief.

She opens up the jewelry box in her car to see the diamond ring inside, and then drives to the hospital murmuring over and over again that everything is fine. Soon after she arrives, Chief Secretary Do calls with instructions to check in on Kang Ji-hyuk.

When she asks who that is, she’s reminded that their family business (FB) department carries out their tasks without question. In regards to Dong-seok’s whereabouts, he tells Mi-ra to stay focused and do as she’s told.

And so when she drops by Ji-hyuk’s room, a nurse steps inside and informs her of his miraculous recovery—not many are declared brain-dead and come back to life.

Mi-ra then heads over to ask about Dong-seok only to be turned down. A few co-workers arrive carrying some items, which she recognizes are from Dong-seok’s office, but they too are denied further access.

At the WBS newsroom, an employee reports to his boss about an interesting finding: Chairman Kang appears to have a newfound son who was recently added to the family registry.

Chief Secretary Do relays updates on Ji-hyuk’s speedy recovery with the added measure to have him transferred to a general hospital once he wakes. Chairman Kang tells his right-hand man to make sure that there’s no paper trail.

The chairman’s wife, Madam Choi, turns on classical music for her son (using the sound system from his office). She steps out for some air, which allows Mi-ra the opportunity to slip inside.

Following the sound of the music, her eyes fall upon Dong-seok’s unconscious state. Tears fall from her eyes as she urges him to wake up—to tell her that he’s fine. At the sound of the door, Mi-ra slips into the closet.

She listens as Chairman Kang is told that Dong-seok has about a month in his current state. Normal functioning would be difficult for any period longer than that. Madam Choi demands to know what they can do NOW, even if that means ripping “that heart out” for her son. Whoa, lady.

She’s simply frustrated by the little to no progress her son is making, and is led outside by her husband. Inside the closet, Mi-ra’s eyes widen at what she just learned.

The pieces of information fall like a ton of bricks on her shoulders, as it becomes clear why Kang Ji-hyuk’s heart is so necessary. She recalls the time Dong-seok once collapsed in a restaurant and told her that this might happen again in the future. Placing a hand over his heart, he said, “This [heart] inside me, it isn’t originally mine.”

Chief Secretary Do is informed that the media has caught wind of Ji-hyuk’s existence and instructs that he be transferred immediately.

Mi-ra walks down the hallway in a daze and steps inside Ji-hyuk’s room, hovering over his bed. Is that… a slightly murderous gaze?

She raises a shaking hand towards Ji-hyuk’s face, inching closer and closer… but then pulls back, overcome with guilt. Tears stream down her face as her fingers hover over his oxygen mask.

Ji-hyuk’s finger twitches before his entire body jolts awake moments later. And why yes, I totally jumped and screamed in shock. His eyes fly open, his hand tightly grasping hers.

Synopsis :
3 Days is a drama that tells about the story of the search for the lost South Korea's president. A presidential bodyguard will be deployed to search for the President.

Story of the disappearance of the President started at a time when the President was enjoying his holiday in a villa. However, an unexpected incident happen so quickly. While the President was in the villa, suddenly heard gunshots as much as 3 times. This was the beginning of the lost of the President. Because, after the gunshots were heard, the President no longer found in the villa.
To find the President, a presidential bodyguard named Han Tae Kyung was assigned to seek out and find the President.
Three shots are fired and the president of South Korea suddenly goes missing from his vacation villa. Three Days is a condensed-time thriller that follows the struggles of elite Blue House bodyguard Han Tae Kyung (Park Yoo Chun) to find and protect the president. With the aid of local police officer Yoon Bo Won (Park Ha Sun) and fellow Blue House guards, will Han Tae Kyung be able to save the president before it’s too late?

Tae-kyung stays behind and sticks his gun in Chairman Kim’s face, which then leads all of the bodyguards and agents remaining to raise their guns in a confusing jumble of men in black. I’m sure they know which side they’re playing for, so that’s all that’s important.

Tae-kyung says that it’s perfectly within his job description to fire his weapon at anyone who attempts to endanger the president, but Chairman Kim just smirks coolly that he has no idea what he’s talking about.

The Blue House agents race to the other side of the stadium to try and locate the sniper, but he’s vanished. With no real evidence of foul play, Tae-kyung knows he has nothing to hold him with, and lowers his weapon. Chairman Kim then goads him and asks where Cha-young and Bo-won are…

They’re in Cha-young’s hospital room, of course, with the shady assistant prosecutor smiling at them like a creep. He and Bo-won recognize each other, and the air turns to ice.

Suddenly Bo-won’s phone rings, and when she reaches to answer it, the prosecutor makes his move. The cops he planted in the hall come running in, and they attack both women.

When Tae-kyung can’t get a hold of Bo-won, he calls his buddy who was supposed to stay by her side. But he says they parted at the hospital. Worst bodyguard ever. Up in the hospital room, Bo-won gets knocked out with a blow to the head, and Cha-young gets strangled until she passes out.

The president realizes that other people are in danger and refuses to go back to the Blue House until he checks on Cha-young. They turn the cars around on his command.

Tae-kyung’s friend finds the room empty, and downstairs we see three (fake? Dirty?) cops wheeling someone out on a stretcher. They reach the hospital parking garage, but just before they can get away, they’re blockaded by a row of cars. Yay, it’s the president, here with his army of guards.

The agents move to examine the person on the stretcher, so the cops pull out their guns and try to fight. It’s pretty hilarious how quickly the agents disarm them and turn the tables. Once the baddies are pinned down, President Lee goes over to the stretcher and braces himself before lifting the sheet. His eyes widen… Please don’t be dead.

Synopsis God's Gift - 14 Days Episode 16

First Son Kim Joon-seo, provokes Dong-chan, who reacts by chocking him on the hospital bed. Soo-hyun intervenes to stop Dong-chan just as we roll over to our final day.
Now out of Dong-chan’s firm grip, Kim Joon-seo laughs at their attempt to kill him. Soo-hyun threatens him with the pictures, but he smirks. The pictures aren’t enough evidence to prove that he did anything. He tells them to try, but in the time the evidence gets put together, Saet-byul will already be dead.

At that, Dong-chan pulls him into another chokehold, but the bodyguards rush in this time. Dong-chan struggles to get out of the bodyguards’ grip, but Soo-hyun tells him to stop. This guy’s not worth their time.

Outside the hospital, Soo-hyun tells Dong-chan that Kim Joon-seo is right: the pictures alone aren’t enough evidence to prove anything. What do they do now?
Dong-chan gets a call and brightens up when he sees that it’s Grandpa Chu; however, on the phone, it’s not Grandpa but an assistant, who tells Dong-chan to come to the hospital. He realizes that today is the day that Grandpa passed away from a heart attack.
In his hospital bed, Grandpa finishes signing his will just as Dong-chan and Soo-hyun enter. Dong-chan scolds Grandpa for not taking care of his health and drinking all that coffee (aw), but Grandpa replies with an envelope, saying that this should help him with his investigation.

Inside is a written suicide note from Grandpa’s son (Chu Do-jin), which retells the events at Moojin ten years ago. In a flashback, Chief of Staff Lee Myung-han gives the guys two options: (1) become accomplices to the crime and cover it up; (2) be charged of murder and spend the rest of their lives in prison.

Chu Do-jin acts first and makes the decision by picking up the knife and stabbing Soo-jung. Chief of Staff Lee then takes pictures of the three guys with Soo-jung’s blood on their hands as blackmail to seal the deal.

Finally with the truth, Dong-chan looks at Grandpa with betrayal. Grandpa knew this whole time that Dong-ho had been innocent, but he didn’t have enough courage to tell the truth.

Dong-chan reasons that Grandpa must have offered the money to pay off Dong-ho’s imprisonment and tells him that he won’t be taking his money. He tells Grandpa to stay alive and live with repentance.

Dong-chan storms out, and Grandpa stops Soo-hyun before she leaves. He apologizes to her for acting so late and tells her that he has his people looking for Saet-byul. With that, Soo-hyun leaves and Grandpa gasps as he holds his weak heart.

Chief of Staff Lee relaxes in his home when suddenly Ji-hoon pops out in his living room demanding his daughter back. Lee acts oblivious, but Ji-hoon calls him out. He took the jewelry evidence, so let Saet-byul go.
Another flashback, but this time to five years ago when Ji-hoon still worked as a prosecutor. Yoon Jae-han, Te-oh’s hyung and one of the accomplices, offers to testify and asks Ji-hoon to reinvestigate the Moojin case.
Soon after this encounter, Yoon Jae-han dies in a car accident, and Ji-hoon storms into Lee Myung-han’s office, accusing him of staging his death. But of course, Ji-hoon doesn’t have evidence.
That’s where the jewelry evidence comes in. When Ji-hoon found the evidence recently, he threatened to use it against Chief of Staff Lee, but he also had some ulterior motives. In his negotiations, Ji-hoon says that he’s come to question how much he can do to change the world as a mere lawyer and asks Chief of Staff Lee to be a stepping stone for him.
But at this point, Ji-hoon doesn’t care about the deal. He drops to his knees and apologizes for everything. He begs Lee Myung-han to save his daughter and calls himself a dog, saying he’ll do anything he’s asked.

At that, Lee calls for the drop-off of Saet-byul at a nearby hospital and tells Ji-hoon to go to his daughter. How nice but very uncharacteristic of him… This was way too easy.

Morning has arrived, and Grandma reads the headlining newspaper article about the capital punishment proceedings. Suddenly, the corrupt police forces come into the house and arrest both Grandma and Young-gyu for Saet-byul’s kidnapping.

Dong-chan and Soo-hyun meet up with Jenny and Byung-tae to execute their next plan of action. Dong-chan calls Lee Myung-han with the truth and asks to meet up. Then he hands Jenny and Byung-tae the file for safekeeping.

Soo-hyun then gets a call from Ji-hoon with Saet-byul’s whereabouts. Dong-chan offers to go with her, but she tells him to go save his brother. Soo-hyun drives off on her mission, as does Dong-chan on his.

Dong-chan enters Lee Myung-han’s room, sarcastically commenting on how criminals live in great luxury. He kicks the board game off the table and sets down Chu Do-jin’s letter. Lee Myung-han reads the letter but says nothing.

Then he turns on his TV, which shows a live feed of Grandma, Young-gyu, and now Ho-kook, who is knocked unconscious. He says that there’s plenty of evidence — surveillance cameras, Saet-byul’s DNA at the Moojin hideout — that prove that Grandma is the kidnapper. Dong-chan doesn’t express too much worry, however, knowing that his mother isn’t the real kidnapper.

But Lee Myung-han doesn’t stop there. Grandma and Young-gyu will be taken to the police station, but on the way there, they will be allowed to escape. With the criminals escaping, the police will then shoot at them, not with their guns, but with Ho-kook’s gun. He orders Dong-chan to bring the original letter, or else the three of them will die.
Ji-hoon runs into the hospital to find Saet-byul, but she’s nowhere in sight. He calls Lee Myung-han, who tells him that Saet-byul ran away. Soo-hyun arrives and drops to the ground when she hears that Saet-byul is gone.
They’re running out of time, and Soo-hyun decides to go meet the president. She keeps thinking back to the phoenix tail that Saet-byul drew in the Moojin shack, the same one on the president’s ring. Frustrated, Ji-hoon tells her that the president has nothing to do with this scheme — it’s all Lee Myung-han.

Ji-hoon is sure the president knows nothing because he was in Switzerland as the president’s aide at the time. He actually sounds convincing, but Soo-hyun can’t trust him and needs to check for herself.

Dong-chan returns to Lee Myung-han with the original written letter, and the three are set free. Lee Myung-han rips up the letter, and we see that Saet-byul is still trapped in his basement. Oh, he plays extra dirty.

When Ho-kook wakes up, Dong-chan lies that he hit him, thinking Ho-kook was a thief. Then Ho-kook drops the news: Dong-ho is on the list for tomorrow’s capital punishment proceedings. Dong-chan knew this was coming, but the original date was a month later, not the next day. Uh-oh.

Dong-chan goes home and asks Grandma for food, shocking her by being less hostile than he’s been in years. He clearly feels regret for his attitude toward her over the years, and Grandma quickly warms up to his arrival, rushing to feed him. Young-gyu excitedly comments on how this is the first time Uncle Dong-chan has eaten a meal with Grandma and him.

Dong-chan turns to Young-gyu and asks if he wants to go see his father. Grandma protests, saying that Dong-ho will be shocked at Young-gyu’s state, but Dong-chan insists that he promised his brother.

He takes Young-gyu outside to give him a bowl haircut, with a literal bowl on his head. And with Young-gyu freshly groomed, he suggests that they take a picture. Grandma looks back at Dong-chan, confused and worried, while he forces a smile for the picture. It’s a bittersweet moment.

Meanwhile, Soo-hyun is making way in her own investigation of the president. Looking at a video of the president that was recorded at the same time that the Moojin incident was taking place, she sees that he never walked offscreen — he had no time to take a call or do anything else, meaning that he really didn’t know. Soo-hyun puts on a different recording of the president’s inauguration and sees that there are two rings: one for the president, one for the first lady.

The first lady was behind this all, trying to protect her own son. She has been looking after Saet-byul during her kidnapping and initially wants to let her go, but when she realizes that letting go of her would endanger her son, she decides the girl must be taken care of.

But why did Lee Myung-han help her cover up the crime? He says that he respected now-president Kim Nam-joon too much as a person and as a politician to let him to go down for his son’s mistake. He wanted to make him the president.

Lee Myung-han goes down into his basement and orders Tattoo Hand to get rid of Saet-byul. Tattoo Hand protests, saying that this is against his promise.

But Lee Myung-han reminds him that his son’s killer needs to hang in order for his wife to stop her suicide attempts, and the list of felons set for capital punishment can be changed at any time.

Visiting the prison, Dong-chan greets his brother while Young-gyu hides under the table. As soon he sits down, Dong-ho asks if the noose for his hanging will hurt. He cries, saying that he scared and doesn’t want to hurt.

Then Young-gyu pops up from under that table, shocking Dong-ho. Young-gyu is disappointed at first, thinking his father forgot him, but Dong-ho calls out Young-gyu’s name and apologizes to him.

Once Young-gyu is out of the room, Dong-ho asks why Young-gyu is different (since Young-gyu was smart as a child when he last knew him), fearful that he is somehow to blame for the boy becoming mentally slow. Dong-chan claims that Young-gyu was just happy to see him, but Dong-ho knows something’s happened. Then he asks Dong-chan to be Young-gyu’s father if he dies.

Dong-chan refuses, saying that Dong-ho should be his father and live happily together when he gets out. At that, Dong-ho’s face lights up and he asks when he can get out. But Dong-chan looks sadly at his brother, unsure himself.

Dong-chan goes to visit Woo-jin, who is still unconscious at the hospital. He tells Woo-jin that if he takes care of Dong-ho and Young-gyu when he’s gone and his mother passes away, then he’ll forgive him. Oh no, what is he doing?!

First son Kim Joon-seo is released from the hospital and swarmed by reporters when Dong-chan jumps in to give him a few punches. Then he proceeds to tell all the reporters that he’s the real killer in the Moojin cases and framed his brother for fun.
He puts on an act, claiming that he’s the real culprit and that it’s not fun when all the stupid police and investigators can’t figure out a thing.
He’s got the pictures to prove it and throws them at the reporters. Soo-hyun tries to reach Dong-chan but sees on the news that he’s being arrested as the Moojin killer.

In jail, Dong-chan sees on the news that Grandpa Chu has passed away, just like in the original timeline. Then Ho-kook runs to him, knowing that Dong-chan did everything to save Dong-ho. Dong-chan keeps up the act and insists that everyone was fooled.

Grandma comes to the station and asks why Dong-chan is doing this. She accuses Soo-hyun, wrongly thinking that she reported her for kidnapping Saet-byul and now she’s ruining Dong-chan. She regrets not having held onto Saet-byul, dead or alive.
Right then, Soo-hyun runs into the station, and Grandma grabs onto her, demanding her to save her sons. Grandma is dragged out, and Soo-hyun confronts Dong-chan. What the hell is he doing?
Dong-chan apologizes and says he’s done what can. Soo-hyun persuades him to not give up, but it seems that he already has. He tell her that Dong-ho’s capital punishment date is tomorrow, and this was the only thing he could do for his brother.
But Soo-hyun is not ready to give up. She still has time, and she’s going to use it to save Saet-byul, Dong-ho, and now Dong-chan.
Soo-hyun heads over to the Blue House, claiming she needs to talk to the president directly, but the guards won’t let her in.
Ji-hoon hasn’t given up either, and he’s back at Lee Myung-han’s house. Lee Myung-han denies any knowledge of Saet-byul, and Ji-hoon runs at him with a knife, an insane look in his eyes. But the bodyguards knock him down and beat him to a pulp.

Back at the station, Dong-chan is released. Apparently, the lack of evidence means that they can’t hold him in custody, so he’s free to go. He gets his phone just as it receives a text message with a meet-up location to save Saet-byul.

He arrives at the location, which happens to be the same club from the night he can’t remember. Dong-chan comments on the familiarity of the club and rejects any alcohol.
Unable to get an audience with the president, Soo-hyun forces his hand by talking to the reporters in front of the Blue House. They broadcast her public statement live, questioning the president’s lack of action. The president watches her from his TV.
And so do two men at the club. They complain about Soo-hyun’s persistence to meet the president and blame her for losing her child. Dong-chan, now somehow thoroughly drunk, confronts these two men and throws his drink at them.
Having made her statement, Soo-hyun is finally escorted in the meet the president. She tells him that he’s the only person left who can save Saet-byul and hands him her evidence pictures. She explains the truth and points out that her son has a scar on his collar from that night. It’s clear that the president was unaware of his son’s actions.
Tattoo Hand takes Saet-byul in his car, and she assumes that the first lady has let her go. She also sees that they’re headed to Moojin and assumes that Mom and Dong-chan are going to pick her up. She takes out a small wrapped bag and takes out her hair clip.
In a quick flashback, we see that Saet-byul received two clips in Young-gyu’s gift. Dong-chan threw one into the river, and Saet-byul has the other one. The clip hasn’t gone just yet…
Dong-chan is getting beat up just like in the original timeline, and he gets a call. No one seems to be on the other end, so he gets up to leave. He grabs his jackets but leaves one.
As he gets into the taxi, Dong-chan drops his phone on the street and asks the driver to take him to the Moojin reservoir.
Saet-byul begins to grow suspicious as Tattoo Hand pulls her along through the Moojin fields. When she falls, he puts his hands around her neck to choke her, but he can’t.

Understanding that he won’t be able to carry out Lee’s order, he apologizes to Saet-byul and promises to take her home. But in the distance, a group of men arrive and Tattoo Hand runs away with Saet-byul in his arms.

Lee Myung-han is notified, but he seems to have a back-up plan, having predicted Tattoo Hand’s actions. He orders for the preparation of the plan while Ji-hoon lies on the ground, bloody and helpless.

Tattoo Hand hands Saet-byul his phone (with the Angel Foundation bell keychain) and tells her to run. After some hesitation, she runs off and he stays to fight off the men. But they play dirty, and he’s stabbed in his side.

I personally find the second option more compelling. If Dong-chan is alive (as I would like to believe), he’s shown that the whole journey through the 14 days meant something and had enough power to change Fate. Throughout the 14 days, we’ve seen our dynamic duo change things in Fate and alter the course of certain events. Why not this time? This time around, Dong-chan knows the truth and knows what he’s up against. He most certainly had the power to not give any shits about the prophecy and end the battle with Fate.

Overall, it was kind of a confusing episode. Not that I wasn’t confused every episode, with all those false alarms and intricate twists, but I was expecting some more clarity. The show never failed to fool me again with their red herrings and anticlimactic moments, even in the final installment. I was legitimately scared when Dong-chan remembered the phone call from Grandma, who admitted to killing Saet-byul. I definitely saw that as a possibility and thought, “Holy shit, did Grandma really kill Saet-byul?” But nope false alarm. Also, when the tables turned and Soo-hyun had all the burden to save Saet-byul, Dong-ho, and Dong-chan. I was like “Hell yes! Full circle with motherhood and baddass Soo-hyun!” And about two scenes afterwards, Dong-chan was released, and we got lost the potential great moment to an anticlimactic one.

I was getting antsy when there were about ten minutes left of the show, and it was still going the wrong way. I had no idea how it was going to turn itself around and give me that happy ending I desperately needed. I wanted some enlightenment on how everything unfolded, how the baddies were punished, and how our Baddass Mother and Captain Awesome get their well-deserved resolution. But we were give so little, so I’m going to let my imagination flow to create that ending.

But despite the ending, I thoroughly enjoyed this drama. It did its job in making me enjoy every second of anxiety and giving me that right dose of OHMYGOD to make me keep watching. It also showed me a new side of dramaland and a new twist on the time travel element that was executed quite well. And of course, we can’t leave out the acting. Lee Bo-young and Jo Seung-woo gave great performances individually and as a duo, and I really hope we get a chance to properly ship them in the future. And Kim Yoo-bin, charming and wonderful as always.

A big thank you to javabeans and girlfriday for getting me through the bootcamp and letting me write for this awesome Dramabeans community! This was a great first drama recap experience, and I thank all the Beanies as well for bearing with my struggles. Until next time!
